Ways to celebrate Valentine’s day at home

Reading time: 4 Minutes

Great stuff, you scored yourself a date for Valentine’s day!

Now what to do next?

Now is the time to get creative and sweep your date off their feet by showing off how resourceful you are! And we are here to help you plan the best Valentine’s day at home!

1. Picnic in your home

Choose your favorite movies/series and line them up to watch together. If you are already a couple you can catch up on a series, you have been watching together.

As South Africans, we are very lucky to celebrate Valentine’s day in summer! Why not take your Netflix and chill outside? Create an outdoor cinema.

*Great option if you have children and can’t get a babysitter.

3. Learn to cook a meal together at home

Learning to do anything with a partner can be so much fun, and a great way to get to know each other.

Choose an interesting meal and learn to cook it together.

Check out our kitchen accessories that are guaranteed to impress your date.

Food ideas:

1. Braai plankie
